Kyrgyz-Tajik gunfire aftermath: 19 houses, gas stations, stores, school, border outpost burned in Batken region

AKIPRESS.COM - 19 houses, gas stations and stores were burned in Batken region during the Kyrgyz-Tajik border gunfire on April 29, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. Leilek district. Two houses burned in Kulundu village and 10 houses burned in Maksat village. A school was also burned.
Batken district. 9 houses, 10 gas stations, 2 restaurants, 8 stores, 1 casino, 1 border outpost burned.
A fire station burned down in Ak-Sai village.
The state of emergency was introduced in Ak-Sai, Samarkandek, and Ak-Tatyr villages, local residents were evacuated.
Residents of Kyzyl-Zhol and Kevit villages were also evacuated.
900 residents of Leilek district were evacuated to Batken town.
