AKIPRESS.COM - The number of citizens of Kyrgyzstan died as a result of clashes on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border reached 33, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told AKIpress on May 1.
Ambulances were sent to International village, he said.
"We were told there might be injured. Two dead bodies of men were brought, one born in 1966 and another in 1991. More people, who received injuries, are being transported to the hospital," the Health Minister said.
"We provide medical assistance in Kulundu village. The hospital is on the border. We closed it and moved everyone to the family medicine center. Leilek district is now detached from Batken region. We were transported by plane, helicopter," the Health Minister said.
