Situation in Batken as of May 6 calm, police say

AKIPRESS.COM - As of May 6 morning, the situation in all districts and villages of Batken region and Kyrgyz-Tajik border is quiet, said the press service of the Interior Ministry. Border villages are under full control of police officers.
Police, internal troops and other security agencies control security in the border villages. They reach put to the local population about the observance of the rule of law.
Investigative teams continue to looking into and calculation of damage to social facilities, houses and other objects from armed Kyrgyz-Tajik conflict.
Police continue duty on a reinforced mode.
