Only one house was left unharmed. A Turmush correspondent visited the site. In order to get to the place, it was necessary to cross 2 kilometers of road on the territory of Tajikistan. The Isfara-Vorukh road passes through Kok-Terek, Tash-Tumshuk and Ak-Sai settlements.
According to Kudaiberdi Mamataliev, executive secretary of the Ak-Tatyr aimak, 96 people were left homeless as a result of the attack. "The settlement of Kok-Terek is considered a Kyrgyz enclave on the territory of Tajikistan. 18 residential houses were here with 96 people living in them. Everything was burned and looted. At least 18 million soms in damage was done if each house cost 1 million. If the damage to each house was 3 million soms, then damage reaches 54 million soms. This is our land. Now the local residents are forced to live somewhere else. We've allotted them land in a safe place," Mamataliev said.
Mazeittin Jeri is also considered a Kyrgyz enclave in Tajikistan. 18 houses are located there, but it did not came under attack.
