Turkmenistan receives China's CoronaVac vaccine

AKIPRESS.COM - A large consignment of CoronaVac vaccine developed by China's Sinovac company arrived in Turkmenistan on May 9, state news agency TDH reported. The delivered coronavirus vaccines are stored in the Public Health and Nutrition Center of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Servie of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, Ashgabat and regional sanitary and epidemiological services having necessary conditions for storage of vaccines.
Turkmenistan earlier received Russia's Sputnik V and EpiVacCorona vaccines, Biovac vaccine from China.
Vaccination of high-risk groups is underway in the country.
