Consequences of mudflow in Kara-Kulja, Osh region

AKIPRESS.COM - Employees of institutions and organizations are involved in eliminating the consequences of mudflows in Kara-Kulja district of Osh region, the regional administration said.
Due to heavy rains on May 9-10 in the Kara-Kulja district, mudflows destroyed a bridge and several backyards were flooded. According to the Ministry of Transport, traffic movement stopped due to the impossibility to pass.
The Emergency Ministry said that on May 8 at about 11 p.m. heavy raining resulted in flooding of two houses, the basement of two houses, the yards of 43 houses as well as 450 meters of internal roads in Ak-Kyia village.
