Kyrgyzstan sends condolences to Tatarstan over deadly school shooting

"It was with deep sorrow that I learned the tragic news of the armed attack on a school in Kazan, which resulted in the death and injury of students and employees of the educational institution. On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and in my own name, I express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all those injured. We share the pain and bitterness of the irreparable loss," the message of condolences read.
Seven children and two adults have been killed in a school shooting in Kazan, officials say. 21 other people, mostly children, were injured. A 19-year-old suspected shooter was detained. Tatarstan's leader Rustam Minnikhanov described the attack as a major tragedy. Russian President Vladimir Putin said he would review the country's gun control laws.
