Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France suspected of violence against his wife and daughter

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France is suspected of violence against his wife and daughter. The investigation was not launched due to diplomatic immunity of the Ambassador, Le Parisien reported.
The facts of violence reportedly took place on May 12 in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, but the outcomes are uncertain due to immunity of the Ambassador.
According to a source in police, the wife of the Ambassador called police at around 5.30 p.m. accusing her 46-year-old husband of violence against her and her 19-year-old daughter.
The Ambassador was not at home by the moment of arrival of police.
No actions were undertaken against the Ambassador due to his diplomatic status.
The spouse and daughter were accommodated in hotel for safety considerations.
Le Parisien has not named the suspect, but the post of Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France is held by Shokrat Jumaev.
