AKIPRESS.COM - 47,783 were vaccinated against coronavirus infection in Kyrgyzstan, Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Department's immunization chief Burul Asykbekova told a press briefing on May 14.
They include 13,703 people vaccinated against coronavirus infection in Bishkek.
4,393 of vaccinated people are those above 65 years, 1,951 are medical workers, 545 are law enforcers, 443 are teachers, around 100 are people with chronic diseases, 6,057 are others.
No side effects requiring medical intervention were registered, she said.
70% of surveyed vaccinated people feel well. 30% had headaches, increase in temperature, weakness.
People above 18 years are vaccinated in the country.
"The number of vaccinated people is growing. Don't be afraid of vaccination," Burul Asykbekova urged.
