16yo detained on suspicion of double murder of mother and daughter in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - A suspect in a double murder was detained, Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs said on May 14. On May 12 police received the report that the bodies of two women with stab wounds were found at house at the intersection of Jibek Jolu Avenue and Ibraimov Street.
Investigators, leadership of the district police, the Bishkek Department of Internal Affairs and the Criminal Police Service of the Ministry of Interior arrived on the scene.
The law enforcers identified women as mother and daughter born in 1958 and 1990. Criminal probe into double murder was launched.
Operatives of the Sverdlovsk police department and the Bishkek city police department detained the suspect on May 13 in Bishkek.
The detainee, a native of the Issyk-Kul region, had previous criminal record. Dropping out at 7th grades in Issyk-Kul, he was living in Tokmok since 2018.
The juvenile suspect, with the participation of legal representatives and a lawyer, confessed to the crime and gave evidence.
The teenager was taken to the custody. An investigation is under way.
