Foreign Minister Kazakbaev meets outgoing U.S. Ambassador

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev met with U.S. Ambassador Donald Lu on occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.
Minister Kazakbaev congratulated Ambassador Lu with appointment as Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia.
The outcomes of bilateral cooperation for the last several years, promising areas of cooperation, the schedule of bilateral contacts were discussed during the meeting. The progress of talks on basic cooperation agreement was noted positively.
The sides also discussed regional security issues, strengthening of cooperation between law enforcement agencies.
