Kyrgyzstan confirms 259 new COVID-19 cases

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan registered 259 new coronavirus cases for the past day, the Ministry of Health reported on May 17.
These new cases include 161 in Bishkek, 44 in Chui region, 24 in Issyk-Kul region, 14 in Naryn region, 10 in Jalal-Abad region, 5 in Talas region, 1 in Osh.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases reached 100,732.
Eight lethal cases linked to coronavirus infection were registered for a day.
5 deaths were registered in Bishkek, 3 in Chui region.
The death toll from coronavirus infection since March 2020 reached 1,711.
