Bishkek registers 121 new coronavirus cases, 5 deaths

AKIPRESS.COM - Resurgence in coronavirus cases is observed in Bishkek, Health Ministry's representative Bakytbubu Shamyrkanova told a press briefing on May 18.
112 new coronavirus cases were confimed in Bishkek by the morning of May 18. They include 47 coronavirus pneumonia cases.
Five died from coronavirus infection for the past day in Bishkek.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Bishkek since the beginning of the year reached 11,250.
Some 12,400 were quarantined at home since start of the year. 8,859 were discharged from self-isolation.
5,331 people remain under medical observation. 1,805 tested positive for COVID-19. They have mild symptoms.
