Kyrgyzstan saw 12.7% decrease in imports of cars in Q1

AKIPRESS.COM - The foreign trade turnover decreased by 3.9% in January-March 2021 and amounted to $1,405.6 million, said the National Statistics Committee. The volume of imports has decreased by 1.5% to $979.1 million since the beginning of the year.
The decrease in imports was due to a 12.7% decrease in imports of cars, 10.5% decrease in imports of ferrous metals, 4.6% decrease in imports of equipment and mechanical devices, and 3.6% decrease in imports of wood and wood products.
