Kyrgyzstan to participate in British Army's patrolling exercise

AKIPRESS.COM - Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Talaibek Omuraliev met with British Ambassador Charles Garrett, the Defense Ministry reported on May 20.
The sides discussed the current military cooperation, participation of the team of the armed forces of Kyrgyzstan in the Cambrian Patrol exercise in the UK, defense cooperation according to the bilateral cooperation pan.
The Cambrian Patrol Exercise is the premier patrolling event of the British Army which is held in Wales and hosted by Headquarters 160th (Welsh) Brigade. It will be held in October 2021.
The aim of the Cambrian Patrol is to provide a challenging patrols exercise in order to enhance operational capability.
