2 women arrested for spreading audio inciting to ethnic hatred: Police

AKIPRESS.COM - 2 women were detained on suspicion of spreading provocative messages, said Chui region police department on May 24. On May 5, police officers received an audio message spreading on WhatsApp where unknown woman called on the residents of Chaldovar village "to get rid of the citizens of Tajikistan".
Probe was launched. The audio recording was analyzed by experts, who concluded that the audio calls to interethnic conflict. Pre-trial investigation was reclassified to incitement to ethnic hatred and 2 women born in 1998 and 2001 from Panfilov district were detained on May 22.
They were taken to the temporary detention isolator.
An investigation is under way.
