Russia mulls possible launch of production of Sputnik V vaccine in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Russia intends to continue its support to Kyrgyzstan in response to COVID-19 pandemic. Possibility of launch of production of Sputnik V vaccine in Kyrgyzstan is studied, President Putin said at the meeting with President Sadyr Japarov, RIA Novosti reported.
"We cooperate in fight against coronavirus pandemic. Russia provided and intends to continue its assistance to Kyrgyzstan in supply of test systems, antiviral medicines and vaccines," Putin said.
"Our specialists are studying possibility of launch of production of Sputnik V vaccine in Kyrgyzstan," he added.
The Presidents of Russia and Kyrgyzstan are holding talks in Sochi.
