Russian car maker GAZ seeks to launch production of its vehicles in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian car maker GAZ Group and Tashkent region administration signed a memorandum of cooperation on consideration of launch of production of GAZ vehicles and renewal of equipment, Interfax reported.
The document was signed following the agreements reached at the International Industrial Expo Innoprom in Tashkent, which was held in April 2021.
Production of light commercial and medium duty vehicles is considered.
The sides also plan to cooperate in development of online management systems of fleet of vehicles for further introduction at emergency health services, social services and utilities companies in Tashkent region.
