Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia hold first round of political consultations

AKIPRESS.COM - The Foreign Ministries of Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia held the first round of political consultations virtually.
The delegation of Tajikistan was led by First Deputy Foreign Minister Husrav Noziri.
The delegation of Saudi Arabia was led by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political and Economic Affairs Eid Al-Thaqafi.
The sides discussed current bilateral cooperation and its prospects in political, economic, commercial, investment, tourist, energy spheres, exchanged views on cooperation in the framework of international and regional organizations, regional and international issues.
Importance of projects run by the Islamic Development Fund and the Saudi Fund for Development in Tajikistan was underscored during the consultations.
The sides vowed to further expand and develop friendly ties and cooperation in all areas.
