President checks alternative road in Batken leading to Ak-Sai village not crossing Tajik territory

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sadyr Japarov checked the construction of the Min-Bulak-Chorgo-Ak-Sai road in Batken region on May 28. This road will be a bypass road around the territory of Tajikistan leading to the village of Ak-Sai, Batken region.
It is 48 km long. So far, the work started on the 7th km of the road, which runs through a mountain pass.
President pointed out the importance of the construction of the road to Ak-Sai village, highlighted its strategic nature as an alternative bypass road.
According to the president, it is also important to build internal roads in general, which are one of the main factors of economic growth and sustainable development of regions.
