Parliament Speaker Mamytov receives Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Parliament Speaker Talant Mamytov received Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhtar Tleuberdi, who arrived in Bishkek on official visit.
Bilateal political, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties were considered and views were exchanged on regulation of the conflict on Kyrgyz-Tjaik border.
Speaker Mamytov informed the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan that due to efforts of Kyrgyzstan on regulation of the confliction in peaceful manner, further escalation of the conflict and possible numerous casualties were avoided. Speaker Mamytov noted the Kyrgyz side intends to address interstate issues through a dialogue and to comply with all reached agreements.
The Speaker noted a high level of partnership and active dynamics in all areas of cooperation.
"Kazakhstan is among priority investors of Kyrgyzstan with more than 1,500 joint ventures active in the country. The government of Kyrgyzstan makes all efforts to protect rights of investors," Speaker Mamytov said.
The sides noted the outcomes of the state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Kazakhstan in March 2021.
Some important issues remain unsolved yet, including barriers on the state border, the sides noted.
Speaker Mamytov raise the issue of transit freight transportation bound to Russia, transit railway freight transportation from China through Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. The Speaker expressed hope for the soonest solution of this issue.
