Ex-MP Sabirov interrogated on Kumtor

AKIPRESS.COM - Former MP Maksat Sabirov was questioned by the State National Security Committee regarding the Kumtor case.
A criminal probe into corruption in development of the Kumtor gold mine is being investigated, the statement said.
Sabirov was a member of the state commission on Kumtor in 2013.
Earlier on May 31, ex-Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov was detained for corruption within the criminal probe into Kumtor, the State National Security Committee said. Later on the same day, MP Asilbek Jeenbekov and MP Torobai Zulpukarov, ex-MP Iskhak Pirmatov and ex-MP Talantbek Uzakbaev were detained in connection with the probe.
