Another MP summoned by GKNB

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Ryskeldi Mombekov told journalists on June 1 that he doesn't understand why he was summoned for questioning by the State National Security Committee. The deputy suggests that he may have been summoned for questioning about the Kumtor case.
"In 2003, Kyrgyzstan lost its share in Kumtor, in 2009, Kyrgyzstan lost 16,000 hectares of its land. I raised these two questions as a member of the state commission on Kumtor. When the state commission finished its work, I wrote my special opinion in the conclusion that I totally disagreed with the conclusion and indicated that they were avoiding these agreements from 2003 and 2009. That's probably why they summoned me. They said they have questions for me as a witness," he said.
