AKIPRESS.COM - Number of daily coronavirus cases decreased by 1.6 times in Kazakhstan in May compared to April, said Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Alexei Tsoy.
Kazakhstan ranks 104th out of 221 countries in terms of the number of cases and 107th in terms of death toll, according to the Ministry of Health.
The country remains in the yellow zone.
The number of daily cases decreased from 15,000 to 12,000 cases last week or 21% compared to last week. In general, over the past month the number of cases decreased by 1.6 times.
According to daily monitoring of beds availability as of June 1, the availability of infectious disease beds amounted to 28%, intensive care beds - 24%.
Over the past two weeks the number of patients under treatment has decreased by 12,000.
