Medical workers in Batken ask COVID-19 compensations

AKIPRESS.COM - Medical workers of Batken region united hospital and family medicine center complained to Batken region vice governor Abdirashit Tashbaltaev they were not paid COVID-19 compensations.
116 medical workers treated coronavirus patients and contracted COVID-19 themselves. None of them received 200,000 soms compensation promised by the government.
Sanitary and Epidemiological Center Director Asel Koshbaeva said 695 medical workers in Batken region caught COVID-19, 168 medical workers of Batken anad Batken district among them.
Compensations are paid in accordance with the orders approved by the Ministry of Health, she said.
Medical workers were explained what documents should be submitted when applying for COVID-19 compensation.
The government will consider payment of compensations in the nearest time.
