Two Kyrgyzstanis injured in Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict sent to Turkey for eye surgery

AKIPRESS.COM - Two Kyrgyzstanis injured in the armed conflict on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan were sent to Turkey for eye surgeries, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said.
$15,000 was allocated for treatment of each patient, the Health Minister said.
"54 still receive treatment. The rest need medical assistance, we try to obtain funding," the Health Minister said.
154 Kyrgyzstanis were injured in the border conflict. 36 died, 33 civilians among them.
