Tajikistan and Uzbekistan ready to resume bus service

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin on June 5 in Dushanbe.
Prospects of resumption of halted bus service between Tashkent, Samarkand, Termez, Dushanbe, Khujand, Penjikent and other cities of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan due to COVID-19 pandemic were considered.
The agreement was reached on joint promotion of Silk Road tourist brand and ziyorat tourism projects (visiting holy places), the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan said.
