Books worth $328,200 imported to Kyrgyzstan in Q1

AKIPRESS.COM - 53.5 tons of printed books and materials worth $328,200 (27,808,200 soms) were imported in Kyrgyzstan in the 1st quarter of 2021, said the State Customs Service. 13.1 tons of books were exported in January-March 2021 for $140.9 thousand (11,924,900 soms).
During the same period in 2020, 86.4 tons of printed books and materials were imported to the Kyrgyz Republic for $871.3 thousand.
Import of newspapers and magazines in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 0.6 tons worth $5.2 thousand, drawing books - 1.4 tons worth $1.5 thousand.
