Mine collapse in Sulukta kills 20yo man

AKIPRESS.COM - A mine collapsed in the city of Sulukta, Batken region killing one, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. The accident occurred on June 8 at 18:00 in the mine of the company As-Suluktu. A miner born in 2001 was killed, and the second worker born in 1985 was injured. The condition of the second worker is assessed as mild.
Rescuers recovered both from the mine and handed them over to the relevant services.
11 rescuers, 5 police officers, an ambulance team and 20 local residents were involved in rescue operation.
