Dairy exports grew twice in Kyrgyzstan in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - Exports of milk and dairy products have doubled in recent years, according to the National Statistics Committee. In 2020 compared with 2016, the total volume of dairy exports increased 2 times and reached almost 35000 tons worth $46 million.
Currently, the main dairy products offered to the foreign market are butter (37% of the commodity volume), cheese and cottage cheese (21%), condensed and dried milk and cream (17%), and non-condensed milk and cream (13%) and sour milk products (about 11%).
