Kyrgyzstan, Turkey sign several bilateral documents

AKIPRESS.COM - Several documents aimed to bolster bilateral cooperation were signed during official visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Turkey, the president's press service reported.
President Sadyr Japarov and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan adopted the joint statement.
The following documents were signed:
- Agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey on plant quarantine and protection;
- Memorandum of understanding between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey on copyright and related rights;
- Agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey on cooperation in cultural sphere;
- Agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey on establishment and functioning of cultural centers;
- Memorandum of understanding and cooperation in youth policy between the Kyrgyz Ministry of Culture, Information, Sport and Youth Policy and the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism;
- Protocol of approval of the action plan for implementation of the agreement of cooperation in physical education and sport between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey of 9 April 2018;
- Memorandum of cooperation in protocol sphere between the Foreign Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey; - Joint statement following the 5th meeting of the Supreme Strategic Cooperation Council between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
The sides agreed to maintain a close cooperation between the President's Administrations on implementation of reached agreements during the official visit.
