Torugart and Irkeshtam road checkpoints will be temporarily closed on June 14

AKIPRESS.COM - Torugart and Irkeshtam road checkpoints on Kyrgyz-Chinese border will be temporarily closed for cargo movement on June 14 at the Chinese request in connection with the celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival.
The Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic said traffic movement of vehicles and cargo through the checkpoint will be resumed on June 15.
Torugart and Irkeshtam road checkpoints function according to a special algorithm enabling movement of goods from China to the Kyrgyz Republic.
