AKIPRESS.COM - The deadline for nomination of candidates by political parties to run in repeat local council elections in Bishkek, Osh and Tokmok set for July 11 expired on June 13. The following 17 parties submitted the lists of their candidates to the Bishkek local election commission for registration necessary to run in repeat local council elections:
1. Ata-Jurt Kyrgyzstan;
2. Emgek;
3. Turan democratic party;
4. Kelechek-Future;
5. Reforma;
6. Onuguu-Progress;
7. Our Kyrgyzstan;
8. Our People;
9. Democratic Party Stolitsa;
10. Zamandash;
11. Yntymak;
12. Social Political Party "Strength in Unity";
13. Party of Migrants and Agrarian Reform Center Jany Mezgil;
14. Social Democrats;
15. Ishenim;
16. Uluu Jurt;
17. Greens Party.
Nine parties submitted lists of candidates for registration to the Osh local election commission:
1. Yntymak;
2. Uluu Jurt;
3. Bir Bol;
4. Our Kyrgyzstan;
5. Butun Kyrgyzstan;
6. Ata-Jurt Kyrgyzstan;
7. Uluttar Birimdigi;
8. Kelechek-Future;
9. Nur.
Six parties submitted their lists of candidates to Tokmok local election commission:
1. El Brimdighi;
2. Birge-Together;
3. Emgek;
4. Patriot Yntymagy;
5. Asyl Muras Jashtary;
6. Ata-Jurt Kyrgyzstan.
25 political parties intend to run in the repeat local council elections in total.
Local election commissions will check compliance with legislation requirements by political parties in nomination of their canddiates within 7 days.
In case discrepancies in documents are revealed, political parties will be informed about such discrepancies within 24 hours after receipt of documents.
The parties will have 48 hours for making necessary changes and provision of change documents to the respective local election commission.
