Kyrgyz Health Ministry expects arrival of Sinopharm vaccine this week

AKIPRESS.COM - Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine will be airlifted to Kyrgyzstan before the end of this week, National Immunization Center Director Gulbara Ishenapysova told AKIpress on June 15.
The issue of transportation was solved, she said.
"The negotiations on delivery of the second consignment of the vaccine started since the end of May. The Chinese side announced they will provide 150,000 doses more. Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev asked assistance from UNICEF in transportation of the vaccines. We expect arrival of Sinopharm vaccines before the end of this week," Gulbara Ishenapysova stated.
The Ministry of Health said earlier the coronavirus vaccines will arrive from China before the end of May. China will hand over 150,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine as humanitarian aid.
