Uzbekistan, Russia sign memo of cooperation in IT, communications

AKIPRESS.COM - The second meeting of the joint commission of the governments of Russia and Uzbekistan was held in Moscow on June 22.
More than 10 documents aimed to bolster bilateral cooperation were signed during this meeting.
State Inspectorate for Informatization and Telecommunications Control and the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media signed a memorandum of cooperation in information technologies and communications.
The sides will study and use the advanced experience in exchange of regulations, state standards, technical regulations with the purpose of improvement of their work.
The agencies will hold joint conferences, seminars, symposiums, trainings to improve oversight over information technologies and communications.
Two countries will cooperate in monitoring, control over quality of provision of communication services.
