Uzbekistan detects Delta variant of COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - The Delta variant of the virus causing COVID-19 was registered in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Innovative Development said.
Several variants circulate in the country, UK or Alpha varianta nd India or Delta variant among them, Alisher Abdullaev, Deputy Director of the Advanced Technologies Center, said.
On April 17, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov said South Africa or Beta variant was registered in Uzbekistan.
