Kyrgyzstan sends coronavirus test samples to Novosibirsk for detection of COVID-19 variants

AKIPRESS.COM - COVID-19 test samples were sent to a laboratory in Novosibirsk for genome sequencing, Public Health Department's representative Dinara Otorbaeva said.
This test will allow to detect variants of COVID-19 circulating in the country, she said.
"Laboratory results will be delivered in next few days. The India variant of COVID-19 was detected in spring. We can't say now if Delta variant circulates in the country or not. This will be known soon," she said.
