AKIPRESS.COM - On June 26, the 7th Kurultay of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan unanimously elected Zamir Rakiev as the country's new Mufti. He was born on February 15, 1978 in Shamshy village of Kochkor district of Naryn region.
In 2017-2020, he served as the Deputy Mufti of Kyrgyzstan.
Since August 10, 2020 he was a Qadi of Bishkek.
