Minister of Emergency Situations recommends to sell 10,000 tons of flour provided by Kazakhstan and purchase wheat to avoid food deficit

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Azhikeyev recommended to sell 10,000 tons of flour provided by Kazakhstan and purchase wheat on earned money to prevent food shortages in the country. Interior Minister Ulukbek Maripov instructed relevant bodies to consider the suggestion.
The government had reportedly planned to buy 150 tons of grain from farmers this year, but a lack of irrigation water might reduce yields and risk a poor grain harvest.
