Agreements reached on Kyrgyz-Turkmen Development Fund with authorized capital of $100 million and supply of Turkmen gas and electricity

AKIPRESS.COM - A number of documents were signed during the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov to Turkmenistan on June 28, the press service of the President reported. Two heads of state agreed on the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen Development Fund with authorized capital of $100 million to support joint business projects, on the supply of Turkmen gas and electricity to Kyrgyzstan in the fall and winter, on construction of a Kyrgyz-Turkmen trading house in Bishkek, on building a five-star hotel in the Issyk-Kul region.
Japarov and Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also adopted a joint statement.
The parties signed an agreement on production cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of Turkmenistan, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the Program of Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of Turkmenistan for 2021-2023.
