AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus held political consultations on June 29 in Minsk.
The delegation of Kyrgyzstan was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Azizbek Madmarov.
The delegation of Belarus was led by First Deputy Foreign MInister Alexander Gurianov.
Current bilateral cooperation in political, commercial, economic, cultural, humanitarian spheres and its prospects, expansion of regulatory framework, cooperation in the framework of international and regional organizations were discussed during consultations.
The sides identified the schedule of political contacts for this year, planned the meeting of the intergovernmental commission for commercial and economic cooperation.
The program of cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus for 2021-2022 was signed.
Deputy Foreign Minister Azizbek Madmarov met with Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makey. Deputy Minister Madmarov passed the invitation of Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev to FM Makey to make official visit to Kyrgyzstan this year.
Deputy Foreign Minister Madmarov also met with Head of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus Vladimir Ulahovich.
The sides discussed further expansion and strengthening of commercial and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.
Kyrgyzstan is open to Belarus investments and is ready to support initiatives and investment projects, to provide all possible support to their implementation, Deputy FM Madmarov said.
Belarus was offered to hold the business forum in Kyrgyzstan in 2021.
