Few cases when vaccinated persons contracted COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan - Health Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - There are few cases when citizens vaccinated against COVID-19 contracted coronavirus infection, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told AKIpress.
Health Minister Beishenaliev said efficacy rate of Sinopharm vaccine is 75-80%.
"Among 100 vaccinated around 20 may contract coronavirus infection. This depends upon individual immunity of a person. I also contracted coronavirus after vaccination, but I had mild symptoms due to vaccine," Health Minister Beishenaliev stated.
Health Minister Beishenaliev said on June 25 he contracted coronavirus infection. He told AKIpress he used aconite root as method of treatment.
