Every police officer must get vaccinated against coronavirus: Interior Minister ahead of local council elections

AKIPRESS.COM - Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov held an online meeting on public order during city council elections, the Interior Ministry press service said July 5. Bishkek, Osh and Tokmok city council elections are set for July 11.
The meeting was attended by the heads of the Interior Ministry's central staff, the main directorates and the heads of the departments of internal affairs of Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Naryn, Issyk-Kul and Talas regions and Osh city, as well as the chief departments of the Chui region and Bishkek.
Niyazbekov instructed to ensure public order, security at polling stations and safe delivery of ballots to polling stations. He also urged the government to fight vote-buying and to take action against those involved.
He also reminded of working together to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and said every police officer must be vaccinated therefore.
