Rahmon and Ghani discuss situation in Afghanistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a phone conversation with President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani.
The two leaders discussed development of the military and political situation in Afghanistan.
A particular attention was paid to escalation of the situation in northern districts of Afghanistan bordering with Tajikistan.
Rahmon informed Ghani about new facts of retreat of Afghan government military forces to Tajikistan.
The views were also exchanged on relevant aspects of bilateral relations, including security cooperation and reinforcement of border.
