AKIPRESS.COM - On July 6, 10 people gathered outside the White House demanding return of Orhan Inandi, a Kyrgyz citizen and president of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Sapat schools, to Kyrgyzstan.
Inandi disappeared in Bishkek on June 1. On July 5, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Inandi had been captured and taken to Turkey by Turkish intelligence.
Protesters demand Kyrgyz authorities to issue an official statement explaining the situation. "How could this happen? How was Orhan Inandi, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, taken out of the country? We cannot understand how this happened. How the Turkish special services took a Kyrgyz citizen. It's getting frightening," protesters told journalists.
Neither the Ministry of Internal Affairs, nor the Border Service and Ministry of Foreign Affairs have commented on the incident yet.
