AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan Ahmet Dogan was invited to the Foreign Ministry as instructed by President Sadyr Japarov, the Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
First Deputy Foreign Minister Nuran Niyazaliev held a meeting with the Ambassador.
A note was handed in to Ambassador Ahmet Dogan in connection with the special operation conducted by the Turkish side in which citizen of Kyrgyzstan Orhan Inandi was held in Bishkek and taken to Turkey.
Kyrgyzstan underscored such actions that grossly violate principles and norms of international law, human rights and freedoms enshrined in the Universal Human Rights Declaration and International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights are inadmissible.
Kyrgyzstan has called upon the Turkish side to return Orhan Inandi to Kyrgyzstan and undertake all necessary actions for the purpose of duly treatment and prevention of use of violent and degrading treatment as required by international law.
The Turkish Ambassador said Orhan Inandi is a citizen of Turkey and is recognized exceptionally as Turkish national. He said the Turkish side had not stated about the operation conducted in Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan promises to make all possible efforts to bring Orhan Inandi back to Kyrgyzstan, to protect his rights and lawful interests in line with the Constitution and norms of international law.
Sapat education network President Orhan Inandi went missing since night of June 1. In the evening of July 5, President Erdogan said Turkish special service brought Orhan Inandi to Turkey.
