Ambassador, Chief Advisor to Turkish Vice President emphasize necessity of investing to energy, mining, agriculture sectors in Kyrgyzstan by Turkish businessmen

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Mr. Halil Afsarata, Chief Advisor to the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay, the foreign ministry said. During the meeting, the parties discussed the holding of the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation (IGC) and within its framework the Business Forum which is planned to be held on August 6-7, 2021, in Cholpon-Ata. Ambassador Omuraliev noted the importance of thorough preparation of the final documents of the IGC with considering tasks, assigned in the Joint Statement of Presidents of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey and results of the 5th meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey on June 9, 2021, in Ankara.
The parties emphasized the necessity of investing by Turkish businessmen to the energy, mining, agriculture sectors in Kyrgyzstan, and also agreed on the participation of entrepreneurs of the two countries in the Business Forum and B2B meetings, within which the parties will make presentations on the investment opportunities of our country and the companies participating in the events.
