Kyrgyzstan has 52 cold rooms for vaccine storage

AKIPRESS.COM - Upon arrival at Manas International Airport, coronavirus vaccines will be delivered to the storage facility of the National Immunization Center in Bishkek with observance of cold chain requirements, Cabinet Vice Chair Jyldyz Bakashova told a briefing on July 7.
Vaccines will be further distributed among regions for vaccination of population, she said.
There are 7 special cold rooms at region level where temperature between +2...+8°C is maintained. 45 storehouses at district level are equipped with cold rooms and equipment for storage of vaccines, Jyldyz Bakashova said.
Ten refrigerated vans are available for transportation of vaccines, she added.
