Cabinet of Ministers bans inspections of PPP projects carried out by law enforcement agencies

AKIPRESS.COM - The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced a temporary ban on inspections of public-private partnership projects carried out by law enforcement agencies.
Moratorium is imposed on inspections of private and public partners implementing PPP projectst by law enforcement agencies from June 15, 2021 until December 31, 2022, except for inspections carried out in criminal, civil and administrative proceedings, by the customs service with respect to goods under customs control, issues related to preventing the spread of the COVID-19.
Moratorium is imposed in order to create favorable conditions for the development of public-private partnerships, improve the investment climate, support the economic activities of investors, their legal protection, the elimination of unnecessary interference of law enforcement agencies in the activities of private and public partners in PPP projects.
