AKIPRESS.COM - Investigation revealed that Orhan Inandi, having a Turkish passport, received a Kyrgyz ID-passport on June 28, 2012, and general civil passport of Kyrgyz citizen on December 25, 2012, said Bishkek city police department.
Inandi, having a Kyrgyz passport, used a Turkish passport valid until September 23, 2024 and crossed the state border of Kyrgyzstan 27 times when flying to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, UAE, Russia, Turkey and India from 2014 to 2018.
Inandi used his Kyrgyz passport 9 times since 2018 when flying to Russia, Kazakhstan and India, the police department added.
He had both a passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic and a passport of a citizen of Turkey. Inandi, born and raised in Turkey, did not renounce his Turkish citizenship, police said.
In 2019, investigation into legality of Inandi's obtaining a Kyrgyz passport was held, the statement said.
Orhan Inandi disappeared on June 1 in Bishkek. On July 5, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he was detained by Turkish special services and delivered to Turkey.
